Listing for another rescue: Tonka is located in New Cumberland, Ohio. A former boarder at the facility we used to board our horses at bought Tonka (formerly Merlin or Baby) and his brother as yearlings. He proceeded to just let them run wild at the boarding facility, after their gelding surgery. He did not come to visit, he did not come to handle. The only human attention they got was from the facility owner letting him in to eat, and turning him back out to the pasture. Todd then stopped paying board for the horse. He got many warnings, including a certified letter saying the horse would be sold at public auction if he didn't find a new place for it. He chose to ignore those warnings, as well as phone calls, and messages from myself over facebook, telling him of what was going to happen. Tonka is now nearly 3 years old.
